Membrell, LLC was created in August 2002 after discovering the unique characteristics of the eggshell. Hollis P. Osborne, founder and CEO of Membrell, LLC has been involved in various facets of the egg production business for over 50 years. Creating Membrell, LLC fulfilled his lifelong dream of utilizing all of the products produced in egg separation operations. Mr. Osborne personally believes that manufacturers are responsible for finding uses for all of the material they produce, good and bad, thus minimizing the footprint they leave on this earth. |
Membrell, LLC strives daily to help individuals experience a better overall quality of life by introducing the best, unique, natural and healthy products derived from eggshells and eggshell membrane in an environmentally friendly fashion.

Mr. Osborne graduated from Missouri University in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture. He thereafter began working for the University as the County Agriculture Extension Agent, before being called into service by the United States Army. He served in the Korean conflict as an officer in Field Artillery for 19 months. In 1954, Mr. Osborne purchased a small Purina feed store in Southwest Missouri feeding broilers and turkeys. He pioneered the commercialization of back-yard egg flocks into colony units. He successfully promoted the development of the Moark program including hatching, growing, feeding and managing chicks and layers for production and marketing. Today, Moark is recognized as one of the top egg production and marketing companies in the U.S. In February 2003, Mr. Osborne retired from his position as President and Chief Executive Officer at Moark to devote more time to the development of the emerging technologies. |

Mr. Wells holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri. He serves on the Board of the Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas Poultry Federation and was selected as the Missouri Poultryman of the Year for 1998. Mr Wells is a past member of the Board of Regents of Missouri Southern College where he served for 18 years. He is President of Missouri Egg Council and was appointed to the American Egg Board by the Secretary of Agriculture. Currently, Mr. Wells works part-time as Vice President and COO of Moark Productions as well as fulfilling his duties for Membrell.

Mr. Long completed his Bachelor of Science and Graduate training in Poultry Nutrition from the University of Arkansas. He spent many years in the management of poultry companies including positions in Tyson Foods and Con-Agra. Mr. Long spent nine years as the Director of Poultry Science and Chairman of the Agriculture Division at Crowder College in Missouri before retiring to continue the commercialization of his research. Over the last 15 years, his research has focused on converting poorly utilized resources to useful, profitable product streams. Since joining Membrell, he has been focusing on the amazing properties and fractions available in eggshell membranes and shells.

Dr. DeVore was previously co-founder, Chief Scientific Officer, Senior Vice President of Research and Development and a Director of Collagenesis Inc., as well as Vice President of Scientific Affairs at MedChem Products in Woburn, MA. He is generally regarded as one of the leading experts in collagen research and the development, evaluation, and commercialization of natural polymer-based medical implants. Dr. DeVore has authored or coauthored more than 55 patent applications, 36 of which have been issued. He has more than 55 technical publications and has served on the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Long-term Effects of Medical Implants.

Mr. Franklin brings with him 35 years experience of designing, developing and building many unique processes in 18 different countries. He has experience in all types of materials including metal detection in food material, drying and sorting methods to minimize weight of waste materials and a computer detection system used in the recycling industry for distinguishing different types of materials to be recycled.

Mr. Osborne finished his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems with studies in e-business marketing at Southwest Missouri State University. He has worked for Sprint, LDT where he gained experience in web design and programming. Additionally, he worked with Edward Jones where he gained experience in software analysis and maintenance. |

Mr. Stegenga received his Bachelor of Arts from Hope College. Mr. Stegenga brings many years of Sales and Marketing experience to the Membrell team. He began his career representing medical device companies throughout the Midwest and most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for a major medical supply manufacturer. He has extensive experience in identifying product markets, launching new brands, renovating existing brands and establishing collaborative relationships with clients.
